How does Speed Dating work?

For anyone wondering just how does this Speed Dating thing work??

How does Speed Dating work?
• Register on-line for Speed Dating in your area. (Advanced registration is required)
• Show up at venue (club, restaurant, hotel, ect.) a few minutes early.
• Receive your number, name tag and dating cards.
• Get your complimentary drink of choice and mingle with other singles.
• When time to start (music starts) - take your assigned seat and start your six minute date.
• When the music stops - mark your card with that person's name and assigned number- (IF you want to see them again) - then go to next seat.
• When ½ the fun dates are complete you will have an intermission (15 minutes) to mingle, get another drink, enjoy complimentary snacks or use the restroom.
• Finish the rest of the fun dates and stick around to eat, drink and mingle some more!!(and don't forget to turn in your cards!)
• When ready to leave- check out with the host and get your list of potential future dates!
